I need help identifying this 4 speed. Is it an OD? Anything else you can tell from the numbers?

Usually an OD trans has aluminum case, though some early ones were steel.  The key is the input bearing retainer size; should be the large 5.125″ piece.  Regular 4-speeds use smaller input bearing/retainer.

Maincase says 74, tailshaft casting number is 69 B 23 spline.  So it's been switched around at some point.  Unlikely its od, but without pulling the side cover off can't say for certain.

the other way to test it is put it into 3rd gear , if the output shaft turns faster than the input it is OD , if it is slower it is not OD
