I ordered a new Carter fuel pump. Description said U or V code, but the fuel output is way too small for the line. What are you guys running?

That's the one I've been using on the 440 cars I've done. You need an adaptor :alan2cents:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

:iagree: you will need an adapter to connect.

:alan2cents: I installed the same type of fuel pump as you on my car initially . . . it failed shortly after.  I went with a Carter like this one that can be rebuilt if needed and so far am happy with it . . . https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mechanical-Fuel-Pump-Carter-M4862-Big-Block-Chrysler-Mopar-383-440-/182924366460?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l4275.c10#viTabs_0

I wish I had made note of it when I had to get the adapter, but I think it was the same as off of a chevy transmission. Turbo hydramatic if remember right.

Yes, the guy at the auto parts store told me they used to use them all time on radiators for the transmission lines.

In the day I ran the Carter mechanical fuel pump that Claudia linked to.

I am going to pick up a Carter Street Super pump, but I am told they have been back ordered for 6 months.
