Shouldn't the original fuel pump and factory push rod deliver suffice fuel to operate a 750 Quick Fuel carburetor?  I got good starting, idling, and at before 1/2 throttle, missing and sputtering.

Yes it "should" assuming the rod is not worn down & the pump is fully cycled & in good condition , restriction anywhere in the lines filter or pump can change that also .

Accelerator pumps adjusted correctly? , float bowl fuel levels?

I'm running an 880 CFM Quickfuel on my 440/512 stroker with a stock fuel pump rod and have no issues like you describe.  Unless it is worn, I'd look elsewhere for the problem.  :alan2cents:

Thanks all.  I hope to get to working on the issue soon.  Yard work and work always seen to take my time.  Retired 6 years ago and still putting in about 44 to 50 hrs a week.
