Hi all,  need some info/ advice for a 46RH.  So when you OH can you get different gear ratios for 1st and 2nd or are you stuck with what's in it???   OK, assuming you have a choice what would be the best choice for a Gen III 392 Hemi crate motor????  What torque converter / stall would you use?? Are the 46RH ratios the same as the 727 ???   any help very appreciated.. i'm an old 4 spd guy so still learning about these Automatics...

I don't think there is a practical way to change the tranny gears but perhaps a different rear gear would be of benefit ... discussed here https://forum.e-bodies.org/wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-and-steering/12/rear-end-gearing/24990/msg290267#msg290267

thanks Bullitt,    this answers part of it.  i'm stuck with the ratios it has and all i can do is play with rear end gears and tire size. wonder if anyone has a optimum combo for the Gen III 392?   what about Torque converter and Stall???
