Found this b-body rear local to me, can anyone help me confirm this is what I need? Looking to bolt in to my 73 challenger with a 1" spring relo kit.

center perch to perch = 46-1/2"
end to end of drum = 61-3/4"
Has a stamping 2070742 on it

If it's what I need, what's a good price? Guy is asking 250

Did you check to see if it was a sure grip?

I haven't seen it in person - all I know are the details I posted above. How would I tell?

Trying to figure out if it is even a b-body rear. From what I've found online, I think the perch center to center measurement means its an e-body rear?

With the 742 I guess iy's a 1966-69 C-body, they are so close in measurement as the E-body.

Makes sense - I'm passing. Thanks for the help!

B-body 1966-70 is what you are looking for and they are center perch to perch = 44", 66-67 are 5/8" shorter than 68-70 and that affects your backspace.

Wish you were closer, I've got both sizes and not sure what I'm going to do with them.

to test for sure grip leave one drum on the ground & turn the other drum , if the yolk turns it is not a sure grip , if the yolk will not turn it is a sure grip
