My 833 has a slow drip at the reverse lever. Seeing as you have to tear the whole thing down to get to it, I'm going to order a rebuild kit from Passon.
But it lists big block and small block kits. My trans lives behind a 440. I don't remember what the seller told me it came from other than an ebody. Is there a way to tell if it is a big block trans or a small block trans before I remove it?
I think the difference is input bearing size but not sure....and hard to measure when the driveline is assembled.

You have a number of differences but the front brg could be 307 4.3" diameter brg retainer or 308 brg 4.8" & OD version . I used to buy the kits from a drivetrain supplier in Can for around $140 , maybe double that now tho , I would check locally first .
