I have a manual valve body trans. Second gear shifts pretty hard do I need an adjustable snubber ?

yes & no
it will help control diff wind up & traction but on the street it is brutal as it will allow no upward travel of the diff & will beat the floor up , it is more for track use , a better solution is to add 1/2 leafs to the front 1/2 of the leaf spring & clamp it with a square top U bolt

you are welcome , I have been down this path many times . If you can find a set of old leaf springs you can cut full length leaves & run the forward only then clamp them , you can add 2-3 extra 1/2 leafs each side , with them clamped the spring becomes very rigid , this works well  :bigthumb:

If you are looking for one, I have a brand new one laying around somewhere I would part with!   :bigthumb:
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!
