Anybody Know C&J Engineering in Santa Fe Springs CA?

Was referred to C & J Engineering in Santa Fe Springs for carb restoration / rebuild - anyone here have any experience with them?  My first impression via a phone call was not exactly stellar, but options are pretty limited without spending big $$ and waiting forever.

That is generally the rub. The good guys are busy and get what they are worth. The rest are just hit and miss..

I have a couple different projects going now - looking for a decent rebuild for a set of carbs to make sure they will run properly, not a restoration.  I have another set I want to restore to original and can wait for those if I have to.  Just hoping someone may know these guys

If you are not in a hurry, Scott Smith would be the best one to use. He is booked, but the sooner you contact him the better. There are a few others, but I have one of Scotts creations and it is stellar. He posts here occasionally. Harms is his company name.
