Hello,

I'm working on my 73 Cuda with 727 transmission. I purchased new cooler lines from year one to replace the incorrect rubber/steel line combo installed.

How do these lines get routed? I drop the radiator in and they line up by the lines seem crossed/not natural with all the bends from the factory replacement lines.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Originally there is a clip along the oil pan rail to support the lines , you can reverse the lines easily so the dog leg line is underneath if that works better

There should be an "S" clip on the lines to hold them together by the oil pan.  Originally there was a bracket that came off the starter to support the lines also.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. So much knowledge here it's amazing!

I used some sheet metal to build a heat shield for the lines
that were close to my header collector.
