What is the best bang for the buck when it comes to a locker for a 8 3/4? And best place to order one from?

That's what I bought and where I bought it from.

I put one in my 8 3/4.

I was also going to buy a Eaton on Dr Diff, then i saw he doesn't sell them anymore. https://www.doctordiff.com/8-3-4-eaton-truetrac-differential.html

So i bought this model: https://www.doctordiff.com/8-3-4-helical-gear-sure-grip-sure-trac.html

Great service from Dr Diff!

I think the PM was asking for a locker like a Detroit Locker that is not a LSD or Torsen with a fixed gear locking ratio typical for street cars.

Sorry that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for the spider gear replacement. Might just have to do the old Lincoln locker on it I guess.

Are you referring to the Eaton Detroit Gearless differential?

QuoteI'm looking for the spider gear replacement.

Are you talking about a "spool"?  It does away with all the side gears and locks both wheels together ALL the time.

May be PM is looking for this to replace the spider gears in his open differential.
