I'm going to gather parts over the winter to swap out the beat up old school deep sump oil pan currently on my Challenger.

I see Summit Racing has their repop Hemi 6 quart oil pan on sale which I used on the wife's 440 Six Pack rebuild with good results.

I'm wondering if Summit's molded windage tray gasket combo would work with the repop Hemi pan.

I've read that a flat oil pan rail is needed for the molded gasket to seal and some are saying they have used the molded gasket with oil pans with the dimples. Summit claims the gasket will work in their Q&A section on the gasket ad.
The Summit Hemi pan looks to have the dimples....

Anyone using these molded gaskets with good results? What type oil pan are you using?

Thanks,

I'm using it with a Milodon Hemi pan... It has the stiffening ribs, hasn't leaked a drop in over three years...

I'm using a couple of them and they are awesome!  I had to use the one for the stroked engine even with stock set up.  The stock one they sell was hitting ever so slightly so I just went to the stroked version and it's been fantastic.  Super easy to take on and off if needed and does not leak at all.

I have not used those but what a great product , the pricing is in line with a regular windage tray + 2 gaskets , this would be far easier
