R/T's 4 R/P

Just checking before I buy something.
The repro throttle brackets all seem to have the post for the pivot arm for an automatic.
I believe the original brackets for a 4-speed car didn't have that post, correct?
Anyone have a picture of an original throttle bracket? :bigthumb:

I can remove the post, but wanted to check first.
I need a return spring bracket too, but I don't think the repros are different.

You are correct, in that on 4-speed cars may come with a Throttle Control Cable Mounting Bracket (14-26-6) without the post for the Throttle Pressure Linkage, but I don't think this is conclusive or certain in all cases.  I've seen a number of unrestored manual E and B bodies that left me thinking at least some of them, may have come with the bracket containing the post  from the factory.

Referring to the part book(s) you may find, as I did, there is typically one part #, and/or one part for both auto and manual applications.

Also, keep in mind, there are slight variations in these brackets (the 14-26-6 and 14-06-10), depending on engine displacement and carburetor setup.  So when seeking out parts, you'll want to be clear for which application the bracket(s) are for.
