Going to change to a QA1 K member (probably next winter), Ive seen smaller engined cars with the engine held up with a bar across the inner fenders while the engine support was changed. Think I could do that with a 440?

Should be no problem, just spread the load, the shock towers are pretty strong.

Thanks everybody.
I think I'll start soaking the k-member bolts with penetrating oil this summer.

Or you could just go Redneck like I did.
It just sat on the frame rails and used some 1/2" all thread.

Nice! @YellowThumper   :drinkingbud:
Those 1/4" bolts attaching the chain?...lol

Actually, cheap, and effective. And you don't end up with a likely 'one time use' tool around the garage.

4x4 for legs was overkill but it was fence post scraping had.
1/2-13 all thread.
Connection was just a metal strap with holes drilled.
Bolts were either 5/16 or 3/8. No not 1/4...
I just had an issue with loading the tops of fender structure. I know it is done and "should" be fine. Frame was in my eyes a better choice.
