Cast intake removal

I  have the bolts removed from the cast-iron intake but I can't find a good spot to pry on it to get it free any suggestions would be appreciated  .

Big block or small block? Small block I had use a rubber rubber mallet on the heater hose nipple. Should come off fairly easy.

I have put long carb bolts back in and smacked them with rubber mallet.

I usually pry where the heat riser port is in the middle of the intake assuming you have stock heads

You can also try taping a scraper or something through the front of the manifold. That would have a bigger gap or a softer gasket to go through.

 Thanks guys prying at the heat riser area and in the front where the thick cork gasket was I was able to get it removed .
