I found the below reference on another forum and for my 70 convertible it matches my leaf spring part number. The thing I'm wondering is why would the convertible have a different part to a hard top and if so what are the differences?

3400015 - L&R '70 e-body convertible 318/383 2bbl

a convertible is heavier than a hardtop version     springs would have a little higher spring rate in an attempt to keep all things equal

The springs on my '70 383 convertible are 3400044's.  I haven't owned the car since new, but still, I'd be surprised if they aren't the original springs.

We're the spring for a HEMI vert vs hard too different?

Good question, i wouldnt know the answer. You'd have to inspect one of the very few 'vert Hemi's!

I have updated the top list to include more part numbers i have found, to keep them in one place.

As has been discussed here before, the 024 and 034 springs didn't come only on hemi and 440 cars.  383 and I believe 340 cars could also be equipped with the "Hemi" springs if they were ordered with a performance axle package.  My 70 383 Cuda was originally equipped with 024/034 springs and they are listed as such on the broadcast sheet. :alan2cents:
