Have a 1970 440-4, 4-speed. Built April 1970

Although the correct carb is an AVS 4737S, the choke spring on the car is stamped "Holley". Wondering if this is correct.

- Is the choke spring assembly supposed to be a "Carter"?
- Would the Holley spring work with a Carter?

Please let me know,
Thanks

The Holley one can be made to work , you might have to adjust the rod length .
I assume Carter had their own choke assy , but there were weird alliences such as the edelbrock 6 pack intake using Holley carbs , Holley never built a 6 pack intake just Eddy & Weiand
