Hi ,
I got this crane cam 969361 from a friend that bought it 1980 in a speed shop in los angeles.
Im thinking of putting it in a 340 build I'm doing now but not sure if this is a stock replacement or a cheater grind that he say he wanted when he bought it back in the days.
Anyone know what this is and can read a cam card how it perform in a stock 340 with x heads and headers.
When i install it what intake centerline should i go for ?
Thanks / peter

Not the cam I would choose for a street 340 , but you can try it & see if you like it .
Looks like a cam with close to stock lift but longer duration , 224* duration @ .050 Int / 232* duration @ .050  exh
intake CL is 105 typically it will install at 109 or 110 *
For example Lunati VooDoo would have a lift around .510 at that duration & lift is free airflow , I use 112* + Cl with manifolds & 110* with headers so it is in the right zone .

i got it for free so i think i might try it , would be cool if it worked ok.

That might be a 340 cheater that your buddy mentioned.
I had one of those in a warmed over 360. It actually ran well,  good torque,  and limitless rpm.
Horrible gas mileage,  and stinky.
