Hi Everyone,

When I do my next transmission change, should I be using DEXRON-VI?. The transmission is a 727 Automatic in my 1970 440 Challenger SE. If so, what would be the best to get for this lady cruising to car shows?.

Thanks

V1? Wow, I fell asleep and missed III, Iv and V! I just like 4 and 6 speeds now I guess.

Dex IV is critical for newer trans , use nothing but that when recommended
In the 727 if it is a new build F type is best , if it has had ATF in it before Dex II or Dex III is fine , or you can use B&M Tick shift , similar to F type
