Do you think a driveshaft being 1" too short from factory specs would really make a difference ?

I need a 44.60" shaft and a member here has a 43.60" one for sale  :takemymoney:

I really do not know for sure if it would be a big deal or not?   :notsure:  I don't think I would risk it.

RUNCHARGER

I wouldn't use it Alan: The slip yoke would not be engaged enough resulting in vibration.

I worry when they are an inch short....  Wouldn't even begin to take that chance....

that could make or a very interesting & untracable vibration
probably used with a dana instead originally
I would not use it  :alan2cents:

The 44.60" I need is for a Dana 60, 4spd Challenger, and the 43.60"one offered is out of a Cuda.

You guys have done a very good job of talking me out of it. :worship:

I would measure to see what you really need. Who knows if if the factory measurements are correct for your car. Not a lot of money to get a new balanced exact fit driveshaft made.
