Radiator Overflow Hose Question

Is there some kind of hook, at the side bottom of the radiator, to secure the overflow hose in place?

Yes there is. It is punched out of sheetmetal and has a finger that hooks into the side mounting bracket. Then it has a little finger that wraps around the hose to secure it. About 6 inches from the bottom of the radiator if my memory is right.
