Finally got the engine dynoed today, it has been a very long time since it ran!

440cid  0.060" over 10.1 compression 6 pack, cast iron exhaust, care to guess the output numbers?

I'm hoping for a least 450 H.P 500 ft lbs torque

Man, that sounds good even from the other side of the glass!   :lookatthat:  I think it's about a mid 400s HP and maybe a tad over 500 torque?

Sounded angry.  I am already a fan.   :bradsthumb:

Thanks guys!

422hp @ 5100rpm, 504ft/lb torque.  It has a stumble when the outboard carbs open up, not getting enough gas, so we are putting in adjustable metering plates on the outboard carbs. Right now he put in larger jets in the center carb and the black springs in the outboard carbs, but still not enough, and it will just run rich all the time. After the new metering plates are in, going back to the yellow springs.  I also put in a FBO advance limiting plate set at 16 degrees initial timing. Pretty happy with a stock rebuild.

Any cam specs?

I don't have them in front of me, but it is a Comp Cam.  I told him I wanted a little bumpy idle because I have a shaker.  I will post the specs when I get it.
