Fuel Pump Pushrod

Does anyone have experience with the bronze tip fuel pump pushrod? My 383 has an iscky roller cam in it now . I have been hearing a lot of negative things about the pump push rods  regarding fast wearing in only a few hundred miles does any one has some positive news about them to share or a better alternative part?

I'm using a hyd roller in my engine also. I went with an electric pump to avoid that issue. My engine is 12 years old now and I have changed the distributor gear once a few years ago and it didn't have much wear on it. It didn't " need" to be changed but I had a brand new one so....

Every little thing has gotten so complicated now.The stock pump pushrods were once fine now we need brass and composite Ugh.
