340 Water Pump Bolt Dimension

Hey Guys,

Can someone please confirm the dimensions of the water pump bolt that I circled in the pic? Want to make sure I have the correct length.

I have a 5" and 5-1/2". Both fit but would one be better than the other?

3/8-16 x 5.00" long

I would use the shorter one IF you have a minimum of 4 full threads of engagement
