My JS23U0B has mostly original parts, apparently the 2998960 radiator as well (440 auto non ac), so I'm just wondering if the shroud (2998328) is the original as well. Also wondering if the cap is original (3781830). Anyone have those specs?
Sending the radiator and heater core off to Glen-Ray as we speak.

According to my 70-71 parts book:

22" inch shroud for 383 and 440 w/o AC is 2998328
Radiator filler cap 16# is 2998982 (all makes and models)

@Skdmark THANK YOU! Sounds like my shroud is correct and my cap isn't. Anyone doing remanufactured caps with correct numbers?

I think this is the style you might be looking for. I don't think our era cars had a part number stamped on them.

Thank you again. I just checked with Bob at Glen-Ray (where I'm shipping my radiator) and he said there was an original on eBay for $350!!  I wasn't ready for that! He said to watch repops because some won't sit right. He acted like he could put me onto a very close and functional one for $25 or so.

Wow! I paid $5 at my local parts store. Functions as it should and looks close enough to original for me.
