Anyone know if the 4 speed lockout linkage for a B body is the same as the E body? Or maybe some of the components?   :notsure: Thanks!

Are you talking about the 1970 lockout linkage that connects to the steering column tube arm?  I think they are different from B-Body to E-Body.  Might be some parts that are the same though, but the shifter is mounted in a different spot.

Good info here:

https://www.e-bodies.org/resources/service-manuals-parts-catalogs-tsb/

Go to "Service Training" section #14 on page 13 & 14 show good photos of the linkage.  They are listing both B-Body and E-Body for the adjustment, but the B-Bodies use the forward (shorter) mount.

Hope that helps.

Looks like the rod going to the reverse rod may be the same for E and B body because it mounts to the reverse swivel on the trans, nothing to do with shifter location. Looking at brewers site the rod going to the steering column appears to be different. I may have most of my parts for my lockout.

You might be right.  :bigthumb:  We know the columns are different for 1970 E-body and B-Body so that would make sense.
