Getting close to mounting the bell housing and 4 speed transmission to the engine on my 70 AAR Cuda (original 340 engine and 4 speed transmission).  I had ordered a kit from Brewers Transmission that included a new clutch fork spring.  Compared the new spring to the one I removed from the car during disassembly, and noticed they are different.  See photo.  The longer and larger diameter spring is the old one I removed from the car.  The other spring is the new one from Brewers.  Don't know if the spring I removed from the car is the original factory correct spring or not.  Can anyone tell me if the larger spring I took off the car is correct, or if the Brewers spring is an accurate reproduction for my car?
Thanks for the help.

No offence, but the lower one looks like a seat slider track spring that has had both ends shortened and hook bent back on manually :alan2cents:
