Oil Dip Stick

Thinking out loud here.  '70 Cuda, 440 block.  I installed a 6 quart Hemi OEM style steel oil pan from 440 source.  Supposedly it's the same depth as the 5 quart pan, just wider to allow for the extra quart.  Since it's not deeper, I assume the stock length dip stick would still register correctly?

It's about the top level of the oil since the crank is "splash" oiled.  I think you're fine as long as the oil is to the same level as factory it really does not matter how deep the pan is.  Only the top level matters.  So yes, your stock dip stick should still work.
