I need educated on factory 440 Six Pack 727 kickdown linkages.

I'm trying to determine the best one for my application.

I currently have no factory kickdown parts so I'm looking at buying a complete kickdown kit.

From what I can see there are 2 types, an earlier 3 piece design and a newer (1971) 1 piece design?

These setups are not cheap, where is the best place to buy one?

The car a 1971 Challenger with 1968 440 and 1968 727 transmission, originality is not a priority.

Is one linkage setup better and/or easier to set up than the other?

The car has Hooker 1 7/8" comp headers so I would like to avoid clearance issues if possible.

For those Six Pack linkage experts out there give me the low down on the kick downs.

Thanks.

Both work, I prefer the three piece 70 design, I feel it is more precise in transferring motion... Both shouldn't have ny trouble clearing headers but the 71 design has the advantage of not having a swiveling bell crank so it might be the better call....
