Let's try this

From what i can see and what I've learned from Don at FBO is that the plugs are indicating too much timing.

He's got a good write up on plug reading on his site.

Does diesel once in a while when I turn it off.
Means front blade just little bit to much open, back of little bit,and open rear blades just a little to correct RPM.
Is that an adjustment on the Carb butterflys?

Yes. An engine that diesels, or runs on after the ignition is shut off, means the carb butterflies are open too far at idle. Hence the use of solenoids on many cars from that era. With a holley, you can adjust the rear butterflies, to help with idle. This should always be don anyway as it will help clean up rich idle issues and make for a better running motor all around. Front and rear should be set the same.
