Just curious do the 340-6 engines use solid lifters? I know they have adjustable rockers so I would assume they are solid. I saw the rocker shaft assemblys on e bay the other day if anyone is looking for them. Not cheap! $1650.00 😳

No not solid.  Hydraulic with special snap rings if I recall.

They are also ground at a different angle on the bottom and the cams are ground to match

I'm surprised that they would be adjustable then with a hydraulic lifter.

some of the components for the "TRANS AM" cars were developed/used specifically so the race cars could use them per SCCA rules

In Larry Sheppard's Six Pack Handbook, he states that the 340-4 and 340-6 camshafts are the same.

The 440-6 engine had dual breaker distributor, special low taper camshaft, .0005" undersize flat face lifters, Hemi valve springs and dampers, chrome flashed valve stems, hardened exhaust valve tips and moly filled top piston rings. The specs for cam lift, duration and lobe centreline may be the same but the lobe itself was ground with less taper then the 4bbl. I don't know about the 340-6 engines but they probably have a similar difference to the 4bbl.
