Micro electric fuel pump. Both have same pressure rating and GPH. Both come with same filter and bolts. Both have same wiring. Carbole is $39 Cdn from Amazon and Mr Gasket is $83 Cdn from Summit or Holley. But they HAVE to be the same pump don't they?

Same part #. I'd say more than likely. When I used to order parts for the dealership it was pretty common for different companies (sometimes it was their own part as well though) using the same part from the original manufacturer and to use the same or similar original part number

More than likely yes.
Company I worked for years ago molded plastic components also provided assembly for the mfg. We had many tools that we would swap nameplates on to produce same product with different names that sold thru different companies.

Kind of like chicken and the egg...Is the Carbole a knockoff of the MrG? Or is MrG taking a cheap part and charging a brand name price for it?
Either way Murray, If you are buying, better buy it from Amazon.ca not Amazon.com. Our friends south of the border have imposed a 125% tax on Chinese amazon stuff.
