I went Fitech non timing control, it's okay.  I have two friends who did non timing control EFI of two other makers who both switched to timing control and both said they picked up very noticeable power, smooth running, One said I def picked up 30 HP the other said he pitched it sideways on the highway!

Now I am thinking about swiping the card!

What are your experiences and opinions on this?

I am running Fitech 600 HP with timing control. You will need to do distributor phasing with locked distributor. If you have not got the system, go with Holley Sniper kit, they sort of made it fool proof. The good thing is you can play with ignition timing electronically to fine tune instead of doing it mechanically. You need good clean signal off the distributor. Not sure about the 30 HP gain. Smooth running engine yes. Big idle improvement for me between carburetor and EFI on a big cam with 8 in vacuum when warm.
