Well we experienced our first major f up yesterday

Got with Dan Brewer and it turns out the pivot we have is wrong he is sending the correct one. It pushes the fork in another 1/4" which makes sense. We will install the trans back in by itself then the engine. Had to get the z bar rebuild kit as well. So much missing or worn.

For the Z bar white bushings:

They have a center groove.

Use a thin O ring to clamp them over tight the pivot ball end.

got the z bar rebuild kit coming thought it would be here today but no dice. Got the bar off anyway needed a good cleaning and a repaint.

FYI here is a shot of our bellhousing today nice big $250 scar on it but its re enforced pretty well. Can't say enough for Brewers for all their help and parts. and every one here thanks for the help on this one we needed it.
