More money than...(add response here), and it's going back up after the cleaning -  :Thud:

If I put wheels like that on my Viper I'd be hiding it in a shed. Seems like a wheel change, cleaning and some glass panels should be in order.

I know it sucks to destroy a cool car like that, but I like it. I like seeing that type of advertising. It's like driving by a military base and seeing a plane or tank on display, and it's priceless advertising.

I'm not an expert, but would guess the dealership took a nice write-off (expense) for it as advertising and can't actually use it now for some other purpose including selling or giving away. I would also guess that the cost of the Viper is a pittance compared to their typical advertising. I think it is brilliant, and like it!

Money well spent, probably paid less than $50k for it.
It's been drawing eyes for more than 25 yrs.
Where else could you get that visibility for less than $2k/yr?

Waste, well, IMO, not really. First gen RT10 Vipers are not commanding huge dollars. I'd put them in the same price category as 340 A bodies and low optioned small block B and E bodies. Sure, there is the occasional low mileage or really hopped up version getting some premium dollars, but generally speaking they are cheaper than a lot of newer performance vehicles.
