If you don't mind throw it up on thingiverse I'm sure a few people would enjoy using/tweaking your design!! Myself included. I think you can link a donation address for your work.

Amazing work! :Thud: Can't wait to see the final product installed in your car! They look like your using Speedhut gauges?  I have them in 2 of my cars now. Great company to deal with!  Good to see you around again!

I will share the stl once I'm done and know it will fit properly.  This won't work for most cars as my steering column in not stock, or in stock location(if I remember correctly). Also my gauges went too wide so I had to revising the switch panel as well. You can see the half circle from the far gauge extending past the original edge.

Glad to be back and glad to have found this forum.   I really like the speedhut gauges and the customer service has been great.  Your car is sick as ever

Awesome work!  Can't wait to see more of it.
Do you happen to have any pictures of the other few parts you created?

Howdy from Colorado!

Here is some low resolution parts I was practicing with the piece holding razor blades is meant to hold wires while soldering, the odd shaped ring is a shifter ring I was toying with and the other is a brake light switch mount.   And of course I made a knob for the wife's roaster

Nice looking prints! Are you designing them yourself or downloading the STL files?

That is all awsome. I have been wanting one for myself. Use cad designing every day for work and have sooo many ideas.

Yeah!  That would be super cool to have and to create with.
Thanks for showing us some of the projects you have put together.

make up parts in plastic and then transfer the design over to metal when needed.

There are some companies that will take your file and print it out in different materials too if you didn't want to buy your own printer.   I think my printer is going for about $400 bucks right now

that gauge panel looks awesome!!!

I am intrigued by the whole 3D printing concept.  I just don't know if I want to lay out that kind of dough for a printer.  The one you mentioned is a little more $$$ in CAD.

One question, on the dash panel, could you smooth it all out paint the material once it is printed?

The better you get at tuning your machine the smoother it gets.  I'm still a noob so it is what it is for me.  But yes I sanded it and primed it like anything else
