Accelerator cable removal

This could be a stupid Question But cannot remove my Accelerator cable from the fire wall . I have removed the small metal clip the cable from the pedal just cannot move the cable back out the engine area

grommet is probably stuck to the fireway...spray it with 4D40...and push

It clicks in, you have to squeeze it with pliers on the inside and push it out
