O.K. its not an E-Body; however, A simple question.

My father (yes the one with cancer) decided to go large.  I get a call last Monday.  It starts with I found a car. Two hours later we are looking at a 1970, Red white top Plymouth Fury III convertible.  I was looking for the fender tag.  There was none.  Shouldn't there be one?  After a test drive and and a few days of thinking.  It ended with I'll take it.  Dad is going large.

So is there suppose to be a fender tag?  If not on the fender where would I find it?

Thanks.

Should have one, sometimes C bodies have it mounted on the core support....

That is one cool sounding car!

Should be a tag.  Your gonna have to find that build sheet.

Yes, I think they should have a fender tag.

FWIW when the front end is good C bodies are great road cars.....

'70 Furys had fender tags attached to the core support in front of the battery

the "0D" Belvidere, IL assembly plant used rivets - "0F" Newark, DE & "0R" Windsor, ONT used screws

There WAS a fender tag. Maybe someone removed it to do a repaint and never put it back on? Maybe someone removed it as a keepsake as the first car they ever owned?

70 Furys are pretty good looking cars.

Yup, no fender tag.  Dad bought it.  It runs well.  It has a 383 two barrel.  The radiator isn't right.  The next part of the puzzle what size radiator.  The top and rear class were in excellent condition.  All in all not a bad cruiser.  Why he bought?  In has words, "because I can".  Kid you not.

Again thanks for the help.
