I would like to contact someone on that site but I do not want to register to bid in order to contact the owner of the car.
Anyone willing to message a time or two to get me a phone number of a car that is on there?

I have had one fella generously offer to help with the contact.
Even as a member, he was asked to provide a credit card in order for him to use the contact key for the owner of the car.
   Since I went ahead and became a member of hemmings a few days ago I have received no less than a dozen emails about crap I could care less about.  If they can't handle how many emails they send me trying to get a dollar from me, why would I just let them have my credit card.  Ridiculous.  But, that is the service the car seller has used so he is prepared to miss out on a local that has the passion for his 72 car.
