BIGSHCLUNK

Yesterday was nighty nite time for NIKKI. I took her out for a last blast in the afternoon. She loves that cold air coming thru the shaker. But it's been 30's here at night and not gonna get better. A trip coming up an family stuff I'm afraid to wait any longer. I've gone as long as Thanksgiving weekend but its not been that kind of weather this year. Prepped her up, pumped up the tires added the sta-bil and marvel, pulled the battery, and laid out the charcoal. Nighty nite baby girl!

I'll be driving my vert in December.... And January.... There's plenty to hate about California.... The weather isn't one of them....

I'm not ready but yes it's time.

Went to my storage garage last weekend and got the winter toys out and played in the dirt.

I'll probably take the wife's car back to the garage this week.

No, and I'm getting frustrated!  The weather this month has been cold and many times damp, every weekend.  I was tied up working yesterday or I would have put my convertible away yesterday.
Of course, today is cloudy, damp and real windy.
Tuesday sounds like it might be OK, maybe I need to take a vacation day to work on the car.
I have oil, filter, stabil, and a can of aviation gas waiting, I just need a day with decent weather to work on it and take a last drive to warm it up and circulate the stabil.
I put my '09 Challenger away around Thanksgiving, 7 quarts of Mobil one, a filter and some Seafoam.
The way it's going, we will probably have a foot of snow on the ground then and streets white with salt dust, the way this fall has been going this year.
I shouldn't even joke about that.... :crying:

I added Stabil does that count? That's about all I do to "store" my car. It's ready to go at any time the weather allows, once they salt the roads I'm done till a few good rains wash it away.

I put in some stabil.  It got down to 70 here in Florida!  :stop:

I've had the fire place going for two days here, its kinda nice watching speed channel at night with a fire going.. Haven't started my car in two years . Put it up on jack stands for the winter. will put it back on the ground for the spring summer fall season . I look forward to pushing it in /out of the garage to work on it.

I'm trying to decide what else I'm going to try and get done before I take it up to Pt. Washington for storage.  I have to give my wife her garage spot back before the weather really turns and with deer season coming up, I'm going to need to hang venison where the Cuda is.  Think I'll bleed the brakes today and maybe call it good for the season.  I'll pull the heater box out so I can work on that over the winter.   I did accomplish the goal I set when I brought the non-running car home in April, which was to get it running and safe enough to drive by the fall.  I've put 70-80 miles on it in the last couple weeks.  Still a long way to go though...

I'm glad you got it out a few times this year @BIGSHCLUNK . Maybe next year we can meet up somewhere.

Yep I am working on all the fun stuff that needs attention before the big freeze here in Michigan . . .   Let see already completed  . . Hardtop in storage, ski boat winterized and in storage, inground pool winterized and covered, sprinkler system winterized, summer furniture packed and covered, jet skis winterized but won’t go to storage for a couple more days . . . Still need to do . . Winterize pontoon boat and cover, pull dock and move boat hoist to shore, clean the gutters . .  . And then the really fun task of picking up all the leaves that have yet to fall.  Once all that is done, wait for the snow to fly so I can shovel it all winter . . .

:bricks:

Fall is not my favorite season . . .
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

What is "sta-bil and marvel"? Some kind of fuel stabilizer?

We have had a streak of upper 60's to low 70's here in Denver, so I'm running them as much as possible.  Snow is expected on Halloween though.
