This was a great weekend on a campout with grandson and scouts, troop 520, at San Onofre state beach. Weather was cool but pleasant, avg. 67deg., my grandson is 11 years old and into the scouting, as I was at his age. The whole family had a great time, campfire at night marshmallows, s'mores and singing. Fantastic weekend with family and scout troop 520.  Thanks,   Al

Great memories of 45+ years ago. Seemed to be the one of the only places to not be surrounded by  :barf: people.

Interesting!  Vastly different Scouting experience than in my neck of the woods.

Here's a few more pics to show what a great time we all had. Scouting has changed a lot since I was one. When I was one we had to watch out for the dinosaurs.LOL by the way that good looking 11 year old is my grandson. I'm very proud of him, as I was his Dad, when he was in scouting. Thanks for looking guys.   Al
