The part about the Dodge Bros. history that I loved was where they are owed a ton of money from Henry Ford for basically building his cars and were in a position to bankrupt him, but took the amazing gamble to take what they were owed in Ford Motor Company stock that a few years later was worth enough that when they sold it, they had enough money to start the Dodge Bros car company!  :cheers:

This debate with my hard headed, Ford friend will continue for a long time.   :deadhorse:

He won't admit the Dodge Brothers were also an integral part of American Automotive history.

Love this excerpt...

Had they lived, who knows what other influences they would have had on cars of the '20s? They could have buried Ford with innovation, especially if they started making cars in his price range.
