My neighbor is a Safety Supervisor for the local gas company....  A few years ago he had a tree that needed some mistletoe  pruned out of it, the mistletoe was pretty high...  He used an extension ladder to get as high as he could then used a pole saw to attempt to reach the mistletoe... He was about 30" short.... What to do what to do....   Yup, he parked his truck beside the tree and put the ladder in the bed of the truck....

On the one side I respect that he got the job done... On the other I find it pretty hypocritical to write up people for safety violations then go home and do something like that...
