Anyone ever have an issue with ordering one of Galen's books? I placed an order a month ago and nothing so far. I found the site a bit basic. If they're just slow, no problem.

Did you call and order or was it some sort of on line purchase ?

Wow, surprised those are still available, bought several many years ago from Year One.

I ordered it from his site. Someone here posted it when I commented on theirs. I don't even remember the site now. I just remember I had to email my choice through a link on the site, then a gal called a day or so later to confirm and get charge card info.

Not surprised, I have a friend who's been waiting for a fender tag for more than a year...and paid in advance...
Seems more like the norm than the exception...

Ding Ding Ding!!!! Winner!! Some things never change...   The books are very good, the experience of dealing with GTS isn't...

I paid in full for services never rendered back in 2001...

Remember when he pulled his head out of the sand on Moparts?

Stuck it back in and was never heard again on a forum.

You sent $ to G Govier & expected something in return
Sorry it is mean but true unfortunatley , if you had bought it from someone else that had it in stock you would have been fine , GG is his own worst enemy !
I met him once , he was doing a "seminar" at a show I was at so I stopped in & him pumped up how good he was for 5 minutes had nothing prepared to discuss & asked what question we had so I asked how rare 4x4 Warlocks were as I had owned one , he told me 1/2 of the production was of Warlocks were 4x4 , at that point I had seen 100s of Warlocks but only 2 4x4 ones even since I rarely see a 4x4 , I bet it was less than 10% . I always loved the Warlock as the whole option sheet was available unlike the Lil Red where you could only order the radio , sunroof & bench or bucket seat , I heard something about a Warlock pkg for the 2020 truck too !

VISA has an entire department for fraud. No problemo and it was only $25 or so. But I'm in no real hurry if he's just running behind. I'll give it another month or so. Definitely not downgrading him. His work has done a lot for this hobby.

I wonder how much of the fraud dept is because of GG ?
