Back to recruiting again.

I'm stuck at a light in downtown Hayward.   ::)

I see this white truck trailering a Cuda the opposite way.,
I whip a Uuey as fast as I can to catch up to it.

Pull along side and yell. "Hey I got a 71 Cuda"
"Pull over and let's talk"

James has a really nice car. Bought up in WA. 383 vinyl top Sassy Grass.   :bradsthumb:
He was taking it to get the glass installed. Next is the top.

Here's the kicker...He lives only a few blocks from me! Walking distance!

Of course I told him of this great site and wrote it down on my business card.
He's a lurker. I'll try and break him of that.

He's not going far.
Has a bunch of questions he was asking me when we spoke today.

Cuda Cody

That's a fantastic story!  What are the odds that he lives close to you!   :veryexcited:  And he has a 71 Cuda too!!!!!    :bradsthumb: :bradsthumb: :bradsthumb:  It's almost hard to believe, but you have a photo to prove it.

Tell James we want to see more photos of his Cuda!  :please:

Thanks @Topcat  for being a top notch guy and sharing the love.   :grouphug:

Nice work Topcat! I've watched the guys on Counting Cars pull people over to talk about their cars and they occasionally get some pretty crazy responses. I do hope he's putting the top on before the glass.  :fingerscrossed:

Yes I believe from our conversation he was getting the top on first.

303 Mopar

Looks like we can have a cuda contingent now Mike.

Now if we can get Bob into the mix we'll have a caravan!

Nice job TopCat...   :ohyeah:

If I tried to get a nice Mopar on a trialer to pull over here in the ATL area, the driver of the other car would probably suspect a carjacking in progress and start shooting at me....    :bricks:

Anywhere in the south that would happen, I cant imagine doing that in Birmingham   Great job. I pulled my dads 66 F100 from Va to Alabama, could not believe how many thumb ups I got, and when I stopped to fill up with gas, people came to talk to me.
Get in, I'll drive

Same thing happened to me. When I moved I loaded up my 86 F150 Bullnose XLT Lariet 4x4 shortbed on the trailer. Pickups are popular here and I got a ton of thumbs up!

James e-mailed me today and said he's planning on joining here.    :drinkingbud:
