I've built models off and on since I was around 10 years old.  I was building a number of Mopar muscle car models in the 90s and off and on until around 5 years ago when I got too busy and lazy.
This winter I got a bit ambitious and did a build.  20+ years ago I bought a chevy tow truck model and a Ram 3500 dually model with the thought of kit bashing them to make a Ram tow truck.
So I finally got to it, and it came out good.
I'm in my 50s and have around 50 model kits sitting around, so seeing how I'm 20 years behind I'm not optimistic I'll get them all built!
Anyone have hints on how to photograph models with depth of field such that the whole model is in focus?  I've got a nice Canon SLR but never figured how to do this.

Back in the day, built models all the time. I'm sure there's an unbuilt kit or 2 in the basement somewhere
