Seeing this post made me nostalgic for printing so I made this yesterday. Took 24 hours to print and I think the back half will take about 30. It's 1/10 scale and has an all 3D printed drive train for remote control.

Awesome work!  Did you design the Challenger with Solid Works??  It looks like it is thin walled like a model, really nice.  Can we see the underside?  Was the underside honeycomb that had to be cleaned out?  Did you use Cura for a slicer?  Too many questions....

I did not make that model. It's freely available here

The Chassis is here

I downloaded the STL files from that site then I sliced them using Simplify 3D. I used the medium quality setting as the high quality one would take just too long. My current printer is a Crealty 10S Pro. Printing the back half now, it says it will take 20 hours.

Thanks!  I'll check out Simplify 3D, Crealty 10S Pro, and Hatchbox.  Please post photos of the Challenger when it's all done.

3D Printer Update.  This may be helpful if you are thinking of buying one.

I bought a Creality Ender 3 V2 Neo from the Comgrow seller for US$319 on Amazon.  I picked this one primarily for the "CR Touch Auto Bed Leveling" feature.  So far, so good.  I did get Hatchbox PLA filament and it is good, so thanks for that.  The filament that came with the printer bonded to the magnetic base and ruined it on the 1st run.   :verymad:  So I had to buy a new base.  It's possible the extruder head was too close to the base.  I did the paper test, but have since found that I need a greater Z Offset gap than a piece of paper.  The new gold colored base is excellent.  Good bond and good release.

The rabbit model comes with the printer.  I think the swirling on its back can be improved by reducing layer height in the slicer.  Still learning.  The grid part pictured is the rabbit half printed to show the interior construction.  The slicer program makes the grid.

I made the block in CAD, sliced it, and printed it.  I think it came out great.  I had to use an older version of Cura (v4.13.1) because it's on an older WIN7 machine.  Cura isn't that hard to use.  Most to all settings are pre-populated.  You just have to click the slice button and download the file.

Lastly, below is a youtube video review of Creality Ender 3 V2 Neo.  This video helped me make the final decision to buy it.
