Couple of generic pics to ponder.

Are those car related?  Almost look like a gun stock?   Or are they splitters?

Man that was quick...
Yes, minimally roughed out injection molds cores and cavities for gun stocks.

Sorry, didn't mean to spoil the fun...

YellowThumper

Nope it is all good.
To continue the theme.
How about the blue molded parts that just happen to be in first pic

No venting yet.
The 2 cores have their water cooling holes and screws to mount to the slide body. The upper smaller portion will be almost completely removed. It is only there now for clamping purposes.

Here is what the blue parts are. Industrial box knives. The front piece rotates to have the thumb lever on either side for left and right handed people.

I will go back to steel items for a part specific guess.

Injection mold core retaining inserts.
Not for a car. Yes for a vehicle.
A necessary accessory.

Don't let the local politicians know your making rifle stock molds... They may want the tax $$$ but they might shut down operations at your plant if they knew what was being produced.....

My best guess is M16A2 stock.

But because there are so many of those, I hope I'm wrong, ha.

YellowThumper

No issues with them. They ar for Colt and are "California compliant".
For what it's worth we currently mold massive amounts of other stocks and misc. items for them. AR15s and the like.

Oh, they're FOR Colt. That's cool! Anyone making A2 stocks for anyone else is wasting their money.
