Wow Bigs, those pictures and the story really help put some perspective on things in life that are inconvenient vs. life altering.  I'll echo the prior comments about being glad everyone got out OK.  I'll add that I applaud your brother for declining to speak to the media.  Not every painful event in life needs to be broadcasted to the world.

Definitely tough times ahead as well.

So Sorry for their loss. Fires can be devastating. My in laws house got hit by lightning 2 years ago and the lost everything but the clothes on their backs and they were able to save their dog and car. They are in their mid and late 80's so they had quite a bit of their lives in that house. But they are safe and the house was rebuilt and life goes on. They will recover.

Wow very sorry to see this happen to anyone . The only good thing is no one got hurt thank god  for that .Yes it would  be a very very hard thing to deal with .As a volunteer fire fighter it really hits home . Take care  :australia:
