Yes: We finished our move to Chilliwack B.C. and am enjoying being close to Mission Raceway and Skagit Raceway again. The garage is smaller than I thought though (I couldn't measure it when we looked at the house because it was full of household stuff) so that's a bit of an issue right now. Already considering upgrading to a bigger house with a legal suite so we can go away in the winters without worrying about the house and get at least a 3 car garage. Probably just make some adjustments and stay here though, purchasing a separate industrial shop might be a better solution I think. You just can't even spray primer on a car in a house garage anymore like I did in the old days.

Build a shop.... The one I've been looking at.... Not that big, less than 1500 sq/ft but much more usable cause the doors are on the long wall.... For the past 20 years I've had a 1500 sq/ft shop with a single roll up door, it's a struggle to get four cars inside & honestly mostly it has two... But if there are three or four you'll want the one in the back out so all four have to move.... With this layout you have five usable 10'x24' stalls & a 10'x24' shop area.... Though honestly my plan is to have a 20'x24' shop and move one roll up door to the back side for better airflow....Here's the link..

BTW 12 ft side walls, insulation, roll up doors rather than panel doors, gutters & overhangs are all optional but not that expensive & worth doing now cause otherwise you talk about "I should have" but you never actually go back & do it....

Yes: I like that setup. A friend built one like that years ago. I thought it was unusual at first but that style is so much handier than the buried in the back style.
