Yep. Tis the season for all the political posturing.
Life is to be viewed thru the windshield. Not rear view mirror.
You are the only one in charge of your destiny.

Good grief Charlie Brown.

I think it would be great to go back in time before Facebook and not have to hear all this stuff. Back then you would talk with your friends and not blab this stuff to the World. Besides I hate FB, do I friggin care that you just had a latte? Hell no! much less hear your political opinions from either side!

Yeah my phone is for making calls . . I don't surf on it at all unless I really need to.  I don't even get email on my phone . . . The only ebody FB page I'm on is ours . . .

I'm one up on you...I don't even own a cell phone. I depend completely to my land line, my home PC, the GPS in my truck and even an ol school camera....
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Just best to keep to Mopar car topics on the Facebook sites.
That is their purpose; not for political discourse.
Our cars should be a source of friendship and comradery JMO

You need to own a phone just so you don't have to use your trucks gps........... theres no way i will use the gps in my vehicles, they take you the longest possible way imaginable, which is ok sometimes but if i have to be at an arena by 7 i don't want to have to leave home by 530 when i could use google maps and leave at 615.

Built-in GPS systems in vehicles are going away.  Most vehicles now just "sync" your phone's GPS to the radio display.

Every time we get out of town visitors I tell them to call me when they get off the interstate and I will give them directions. Everyone says NO I got your address and a GPS and I will find you. 20 Minutes later the phone rings and I always hear the same thing. I at a dead end and can't find your house.  LOL

Here's a car related political issue.

I purchased my fathers car from his estate before he passed away.
Non mopar car - sorry.

He had Ham vanity plates on his car.  The plate has a unique ham radio call sign.
Tags expired in November and I planned on replacing the plate due to sentimental reasons.

Oregon DMV charged me $5 to remove the vanity plates.
This is in addition to what I paid for new plates.

I inquired as to why DMV was charging me to remove plates?
Clerk said we don't make the laws, talk to your Representative.

Facebook is whatever you want it to be, everyone is free to scroll past or not join/ delete themselves from a group. I belong to a lot of Mopar groups some of which also are political. One page owner states that politics DO affect our hobby and I think most can agree with that as there are some who would ban all fossil fuels. I aslo think we can all agree this is a very historic time in the countries political history and the ramifications of what is happening on the hill are many. I have never really been much into politics but lately  I feel it`s very important to keep a watch on what is going on. Nuff said.
